Under the direction of Sherry Morrison, Gypsy Red Tribe is a five-piece bellydance ensemble that combines bellydance with modern dance techniques with a major focus on their own innovative cue based format. Gypsy Red Tribe is accompanied during performances by the four-piece Middle Eastern hand-drumming ensemble Karachi Rocket. Gypsy Red Tribe has been featured on Fox 6 News' "Good Morning Alabama" morning show and has performed as a featured act at City Stages, Art Walk, Art in Avondale Park, Imagination Festival, the Improv Festival and recently at the Break N Bread Event at Pepper Place.
