This Saturday at The Studio in Huntsville, Alabama, The Naughties are sponsoring a henna workshop with Heather Foster. Heather is an amazing henna artist who originally did the design I have on the back of my neck in the palm of my hand in henna. I fell in love with it and had to make it part of me permanently, so this explains why I am so crazy about her. Plus, she's an amazingly cool chickie/dancer/friend! Heather will be at The Studio from 1-4pm teaching the history, safety, and application of henna with an after party for video watching! You will receive 2 cones of henna (one for playing in class & another for taking home to get more practice), handouts of designs & how-to instructions to help you remember the stuff she teaches, and a design of your choice from the sheets she brings done on your hand all for just $25 prepaid or $30 at the door. If you want more henna work done, Heather will be available after the class to do more work during the video/dance hafla. Also, Heather will have extra cones for sale to those of you who just can't wait to henna everyone in the house (be nice to your animals!). The hafla is to be potluck, so bring along any munchies you want to share and/or pillows for lounging while watching the videos. Bring any interesting videos of shows you'd like to share with us.
